Our Mission:
Key Point's Residential program provides housing,
supportive services, and living skills training to enable our residents to lead
more independent lives in the least restrictive community setting.
Services:
A written service plan is developed for each resident upon admission to the Program. The plan is coordinated with the Mental Health Clinic
and Community Rehabilitation Programs. Collaborative meetings between these staff regularly review progress and develop new goals with
our residents.
Trained professional Residential Rehabilitation Counselors are utilized in the development of community living skills with the residents.
Residential Counselors work both individually and in small groups providing support and supervision. Staff assist residents with coordinating
mental health, dental, and medical services. Independent living skills instruction is provided to residents to assist them in being able to live
with a minimal amount of assistance. Staff are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and all holidays.
A trained Mental Health
professional is on call via cell phone in the evenings.
Funding
Funding for residential services is provided by Maryland Health Partners, client resources and entitlements. Case management is provided to
all residents to access eligible entitlements, as well as legal, medical, psychiatric and social services. Rent, basic utilities and local phone
service are managed with the resident by Key Point Health Services, Inc.
Living Arrangements:
Residents may share a fully furnished apartment or townhouse with one or two other roommates and each resident has their own bedroom. Residents receive a array of services depending on need, which range from drop in visits to
(limited) twenty-four hour supervision.
