- What type of insurances do you accept?
- Key Point Health is a private not for profit corporation dedicated to serving public mental/behavioral health and our Service Members. Key Point accepts Medicaid, Medicare and
Tricare. For those needing behavioral health services who have private insurance such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, United, Cigna and others you are encouraged to contact your insurance company and ask for
a list of providers.

- Our Outpatient Mental Health Clinics are open Monday through Friday year round, except for the following holidays:
New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after (Black Friday) and Christmas Day. We are also subject to
weather related closures.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program - Adult |

- What insurances do you accept?
- In most cases, you are required to have Medical Assistance in order to enroll in our program. If you do not have medical assistance, please call the location closest
to you to discuss your insurance further.

- How do I enroll in the PRP?
- You must be referred to the PRP by a licensed professional. If you are currently receiving mental health services by a licensed professional, please have them
complete the one page referral form If you are not currently in services, consider contacting one of our clinics to begin enrollment.

- Do you provide transportation?
- Each location does provide transportation to a limited catchment area. To confirm whether you are in a catchment area, please call the location closest to you.

- Do you provide meals?
- Yes, each location provides breakfast and lunch free of charge to every member.
|

- What activities do you provide?
- Activities vary at each location based on available resources, but may include onsite group activities such as social skills, communication skills, work readiness,
exercise and nutrition, community living skills, art, MISA, and recovery. Additionally, offsite activities are offered to local community resources as well as leisure activities.

- Do you help with benefits?
- Yes, each site is staffed with a case manager to assist with benefits and entitlements.

- Do you help with job placement in the community?
- While PRP staff can assist with job readiness skills and coordination with employment resources, job placement is not the main focus of the psychiatric rehab program.

- How long does a person stay in PRP services?
- Length of time varies depending on an individual’s need, commitment to recovery, and frequency of attendance.
|

- How often do I have to attend?
- Minimum requirements for attendance at each site is two days a week and a maximum of five days a week. Typically the more frequently a person attends, the more progress they make!

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program - Child & Adolescent |

- What insurance do you accept?
- Medical Assistance (Medicaid) is the only insurance that covers the cost of psychiatric
rehabilitation services for minors. Key Point is an approved Medical Assistance (Medicaid) provider.

- How can I get my child enrolled in PRP services?
- State regulations require that a licensed mental health professional provide a referral for PRP services. Typically, a child’s therapist completes and sends the referral. Parents, teachers and others who are interested in referring a child for PRP services should
contact the licensed mental health professional (therapist, psychiatrist) working with the child.

- How long are children usually enrolled in the program?
- Every child’s needs and response to treatment are different so time enrolled in the program varies from person to person. Some children only participate in the program for short periods of time (a few months)
while others need and want services for longer periods of time.

- What kind of activities do you do?
- All activities planned by the PRP staff are designed to be therapeutic in nature, allowing children to learn, develop and/or improve their skills while having fun. Activities often focus on facilitating the development of: anger management skills, age-appropriate semi-independent living skills, self care skills, social skills, anger management skills, educational skills and symptom management skills. PRP staff often adapt games (Bingo, Jenga, Jeopardy, etc.) to focus on the targeted skill being addressed. Activities may also include arts and crafts, carnival themed-games and field trips. Activities are planned around a
theme each month and all children and their families receive the monthly calendar of activities.

Community Outreach Program |

- What are the eligibility requirements?
- You must be 18 or older, have a psychiatric diagnosis that meets the guidelines
set forth in the ASO provider manual, have Medical Assistance or meet the Maryland Uninsured
Span requirement and be referred by a licensed practitioner.

- What can the Community Outreach Program help with?
- Individuals will be assigned a counselor who will help them to select a set of
goals catered to their specific needs. Counselors will help the individual to achieve goals
including but not limited to: maintaining appointments, securing benefits, symptom management,
independence support, life skills training, mobility training, securing housing, socialization, crisis
Intervention, and vocational services.

- What is the mission of Outreach?
- To allow individuals to function independently in their environment of choice, with the least intrusive
care possible.

- Do you provide transportation?
- Yes, the Outreach Program will provide transportation for:
entitlement related services and goal achievement.
*Mobility resources and training is provided for other transportation needs.

- Do I have to participate in Outreach sponsored activities?
- Activity participation is not required, but is encouraged.

Residential Rehabilitation Program |

- Is there a housing cost?
- A. Yes, while the state pays for the cost of services, individuals would be expected to contribute to cost of housing, which includes
utilities, cable and phone. These costs are paid for in most cases by entitlement awards such as SSI/SSDI up to $54.00 a day.

- Key Point does not determine placement based on ability to pay.

- Will I be able to work?
- Key Point is committed to assist individuals in their recovery goals such as employment.

- Can I have visitors?
- Key Point recognizes the importance of support networks and visitations are welcome within the policy and procedure guidelines.

- While common living areas are shared, each individual has a private bed room.

- Will I get time away from the program?
- Independent activities away from program are welcomed within the policy and procedure guidelines.
